Question No. 1: Which program of ‘Prayas is most important?
Answer: ‘Prayas Foundation Course (PFC)’ is most important program which includes personality profiling and planned development initiative and therefore it is an integrated personality identification and comprehensive development program which brings paradigm shift in the thinking and behavior of participants. Bringing positive change in thinking and behavior of individuals is most challenging task which is facilitated by PFC. Therefore this is the flagship program of ‘Prayas’.
Question No. 2: What is purpose of Prayas Foundation Course?
Answer: This program aims at developing an internally driven, proactive and self-motivating personality in participants to enable them to face all challenges of their life successfully with happiness and peace. This program takes care of economically poor candidates by reserving some seats for them and giving some discount to them in fee considering their ability to pay. Our charges are fixed on twin principles of ‘No Profit No Loss’ and cross-subsidization’.
Question No. 3. Why should I join Prayas Foundation Course? What is so special about it?
Answer: Personality of each individual is unique in reference to the configuration of his/her intelligence (mental, emotional, social & spiritual) profile as well as other personality traits. This affects his/her performance not only in his/her current occupation (including self employment) and future career prospects but also in family affairs, in a significant manner. Therefore it is essential for you to get your current personality profiled, to identify your strengths & weaknesses and get the weaknesses removed in a systematic manner for better results in area of your work as well as family affaires. ‘Prayas Foundation Course (PFC)’ precisely does this and helps in developing emotional, social and ethical/spiritual intelligence in the participants. Individuals having very high IQ (Mental Ability) may not be able to do well on jobs/self-occupations due to inherent negative personality traits like unwillingness to do hard labor, inability to take cooperation of others, inability to work in teams and work in a planned and focused manner. PFC not only identifies imbalances in personality traits through standards psychological instruments but also facilitates their removal and thereby facilitates better on job/occupation performance besides bringing positive changes in behavior of participants thereby facilitating development of enabling conduct for achieving success with peace and happiness. Question No. 04. I am already very busy from early morning to evening in my job/self-occupation/entrepreneurial pursuits and family responsibilities. As such how I can find 90 minutes daily for this course?
Answer: As your present performance in your area of work or profession may not be at the desired level due to your current personality related inner constraints and the same cannot be improved without developing positive thinking, habits and self driven behavior in you which is developed by PFC, taking out 90 minutes by rearranging your current engagement schedule is not only desirable but necessary. Moreover once you complete PFC successfully, your time management and behavioral effectiveness will improve tremendously and you will be successful in whatever you decide to do considering your personality features and interests. Such positive changes in the personality of officers, managers or employees and owners of various organizations are very beneficial for them. It would also bring a positive transformation in the work culture of your organization and its corporate objectives can be achieved very easily.
Question No. 5: I am already so much tired from existing heavy workload that I will have no energy left for attending the brainstorming sessions of PFC as I will further get tired.
Answer: It should be noted that PFC is not a usual run of the mill course. While participating in PFC you will not be taught any difficult topic by any teacher about which you have no knowledge at all and have to struggle mentally to understand it. Rather you will be asked to submit only one page each day on a subject or topic of your own interest & choice and asked to do some self-study and while attending the brainstorming session you have to express your views freely on various topics of general nature which are very relevant for day to day work life of yourself, your family and society around you. You already have some knowledge about all such topics and will also get chance to hear views of other participants on the topic under discussion and react to them based on your common sense. The process of brainstorming will refresh you and you will be in fact more ready for your next assignment in a relaxed mood with higher energy level. So question of getting tired by attending the brainstorming sessions of PFC does not arise. In fact it will relax you mentally which is very important for better results.
Question No. 6: I am already spending a lot to meet my family responsibilities including fee of my children and other expenses of my family members and therefore arranging Rs. 750 for personality profiling and counseling or Rs. 5000 for PFC further may be quite difficult for me.
Answer: The personality profiling and counseling fee of Rs. 750 and the current fee of Rs. 5000 of PFC of 6 months duration, is quite moderate comparing present day charges for such services. We have been able to keep it very low by adopting the concept of time donation by socially spirited individuals and taking their services as our Activity Partners to ensure that even poor people can avail benefit of our services. In fact we are of the view that you should gradually ensure that each member of your family participates in this course which is generic in nature. The expected benefit from PFC are many time more than its cost and as such it may be prudent on your part to arrange Rs. 5000 in two installment first for self and then for each member of your family in a gradual manner. PFC will change your life as well life of your family members forever and you and others will be able to manage their work on their own in a much better manner than they are doing at present.
Question No. 7: Why I should join PFC so early? Can I not join it later age in my life?
Answer: You will agree that the most productive stage in the life of an individual is adult working age (25 years to 60 years). Therefore, for deriving maximum benefits from this stage of life, the personality deficiencies of an adult, if any, should be properly identified and removed at the earliest i.e. at the beginning of this stage of life. Change in thinking and behavior of an individual, especially an adult, does not happens in short time and it takes some time for new ideas or thoughts to take firm roots in his/her mind through the process of reflection especially whey are introduced through consensus building achieved through the process of brainstorming. Therefore PFC is run for duration of six months. Therefore you should join it at the earliest rather than waiting further. Why should you wait for something which is so important for success in your work and career and waste precious part of your working age?
Question No. 8: What is importance of Emotional, Social and Ethical/Spiritual Intelligence over the IQ (Mental Intelligence) of an individual in being successful in jobs or pursuing any occupation or profession? If I have high IQ then I can easily be successful in my job and earn good money. Why I should join PFC which claims to develop emotional and ethical/spiritual intelligence?
Answer: Any employer will not like to give job to an applicant who may have very high IQ but low EQ and SQ. Any job or profession including self-employment requires working with people in teams and hierarchy having juniors and seniors. An individual with low EQ and SQ is bound to fail in such a work situation due to his/her inability to seek full cooperation of other members of team, juniors and seniors and as a result may lose his/her job in the long run or may face stagnation in his/her career. Therefore you may not be able to retain and grow in good jobs if your emotional and spiritual intelligence is underdeveloped. Since PFC facilitates development of emotional, social and ethical/spiritual intelligence through the process of brain storming, you should join it if you wish to have a successful, peaceful and happy life as an adult and even thereafter. This is a life changing course.
Question No. 9: How would I know that my personality has development in right direction due to participation in this course? Do I get a certificate or report at the end of this course?
Answer: Just after joining this course (during first month of PFC) a personality test of each participant is held and based on results of this test, the profile of his/her current personality (called entry profile) is generated. Again at the end of PFC (during the last month) a repeat test is held and a revised profile (called exit profile) is generated. A Personality Development Report (PDR) is prepared for each participant clearly highlighting the special features of the personality of a participant and the changes which occurred in his/her personality due to participation in PFC by comparing entry and exit profiles. PDR also contains recommendations for future. It is given to each participant on conclusion of this course. You can easily find out the positive changes which have taken place in your personality as a result of participation in PFC after going through your PDR.
Question No. 10: What preparation is required before going for PFC class? Where do I get time for such a preparation?
Answer: You need not do any prior preparation for attending the brainstorming sessions of PFC class. You are required to just submit one page on any topic of your choice daily and submit it to VVM who conducts this course and see the on line short duration videos or audios before connecting with your VVM and in the brainstorming session you are encouraged to just express your views on the topic of the day and react to the views of others according your existing knowledge and pure common sense.
Question No. 11: What are specific benefits of attending this course?
Answer: Benefits of this course to you include better understanding of yourself, improved self-discipline, better time management, better relations with members of your family, relatives, friends and others, better on the job performance, better management of future life, success in jobs/occupations, increased happiness, and improved social prestige. Bringing positive change in thinking and behavior of an individual is most challenging task and this course will bring positive changes in your life through changes in your thinking and behavior. The most important aspect of this course includes assurance to reply to all queries of participants about the topic being brainstormed and availability of long-term mentorship on payment of annual charges of Rs. 1000 (one Thousand) in normal case and only Rs. 500 (Five Hundreds) in case of candidates belonging to weaker sections of society. .
Question No. 12: Why each member of my family should attends this course?
Answer: As personality of each member is unique, you should ensure that each member of your family attends this course for 6 months. This will lead to positive change in his/her thinking and social behavior and will lead to good family dynamics.
Question No. 13: How can I or other members of my family join ‘Prayas Foundation Course?
Answer: If you or any other member of your family wishes to join PFC, just download the registration form of PFC from our website and send it to us after entering necessary information in it and submit it through the App after paying registration fee of Rs. 100 (one hundred) digitally through the payment link provided for this purpose. Thereafter applicant will be provisionally registered with ‘Prayas’ and admitted to a particular batch being formed at that point of time. When the number of registration to a particular batch reaches 10 (ten), this group will be assigned a VVM and a notification for commencement of the course will be sent to registered individual on the registered mobile number. You can join the course as per the schedule intimated by him/her.
Question No. 14: How can I visit the office of Prayas?
