Majority of the families of India are poor and the problem of personality related deficiencies is universal and does not distinguish between rich and poor. In fact poor families face this problem more than the rich ones and as such they need the service of personality profiling and development to remove the deficiencies detected in this process more than rich families so that they could better the life of their family members faster. Rich families can avail this service from anywhere at any cost but poor people need this service at low price and on a mass scale.   It is not commercially feasible to extend the service of personality profiling and development at low cost and on a mass scale with full time employees working on fixed commercial salary.

‘Prayas Vyaktitva Vikas Seva (P) Ltd. is a private limited company incorporated under Indian Companies ACT 1956. It is managed by the Board of Directors (BOD) headed by the Managing Director MD). It also seeks periodical technical advice as and when required from an Advisory Council consisting of Domain Experts (DEs). Considering its corporate mission of extending its personality identification and development related services to all individuals at reasonable cost, Its various services are extended and managed by socially spirited individuals having some spare time and willing to donate this time for doing socially beneficial activities on part-time basis as a self employment  opportunity in exchange for nominal income. They are called Activity Partners (APs)  who are called Vyaktitva Vikas Margdarshaks (VVMs), and Experts(E) depending upon their capabilities and aptitude.   Full time employees of ‘Prayas’ are very few, mostly doing accounting and other statutory activities of the company. ‘Prayas’ work on the twin principles of ‘No Profit and No Loss’ and ‘Cross Subsidization’. Therefore its management system is contributory in nature. Everybody can contribute to it in appropriate manner which could be decided after mutual consultation.
